The Regina Pats cordially invite you to join them in delivering a salute to our military during the Community Foundation Honours dinner and auction on February 16, 2018. The Pats Community Foundation Honours Dinner and Auction will be held on the evening of February 16th to recognize and thank our military for the sacrifices they have made for all Canadians. NHL and WHL alumni will join us for this premiere event.
With Canada’s entry in the First World War in 1914, many of the greatest hockey heroes of the day quickly answered the call of duty to serve their country on the front lines of Europe. After the war’s end, the Memorial Cup was created to memorialize a generation of talented players who gave their lives in service to preserve our freedom.
Named after Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry, the Regina Pats have a 100-year history of hockey dedicated in the name of those who sacrificed for all Canadians. To begin the 100-day countdown to the Memorial Cup, the Regina Pats will celebrate their heritage along with NHL and WHL alumni by hosting a prestigious evening of events intended to highlight the importance of their military connections to the upcoming Memorial Cup Celebrations. Fifty of the greatest living NHL players who either come from Saskatchewan or who have played in the WHL will be in attendance–there to celebrate our proud heritage with us.
